The bands are not recommended for kids younger than toddlers since everything that they come across will eventually find its way to their mouths which can prove to be hazardous.

There are chemical one available in the market, but it is best to avoid them unless the situation warrants it. Creams and lotions are better used during the winter when sweat won’t render them useless. During the summers kids tend to play and sweat a lot thereby washing way the repellent leaving the kids unprotected.
  5. Vaporizers: As long as possible prefer using mosquito repellent essential oils to keep mosquitoes away. Essential oils like citronella leave the house smelling lemony fresh and mosquitoes away. If not then try using the vaporizer in the room that the kids will be sleeping in beforehand so that the mosquitoes are taken care of and the kids can sleep without having to inhale the chemical fumes.
