Once can drink lime and lemons with water while the others can be drank as juices or eaten as is. Similarly increasing amla intake also helps since its rich in vitamin c.
4.Cinnamon: Cinnamon is very commonly used in traditional remedies one of which is using it for fever. A teaspoon of cinnamon boiled in a glass of water with black pepper powder, cooled and taken with honey helps deal with the infection. This conception should be taken every day to avail its benefits.
5.Fenugreek seeds (methi): These have been long used for maintenance and treatment of various illnesses. The seeds can either be soaked overnight and then consumed as a paste next morning or can be dry powdered and had with water to boost immunity and recovery.
6.Cold Packs: The malarial bouts of fever take its toll on the body and a very high fever can cause damage to internal organs of the body including the brain. Cold packs help keep the body temperature and wishing acceptable limits during the regular bouts of fever. One can use cloth soaked in cold water or ready cold packs available in the market. inn either cases they can be used multiple times a day on the forehead, chest, hands and feet.
